Hotspots Rotterdam: Best Places to Write A New Blog Post
International booking agency for digital marketing and influencer magazine www.iGlossy.nl asked our Founder Maya Roeland about her favorite hotspots in Rotterdam. Of course she has a lot of them.
But here is how she describes the top 5 of her favo places to work outside the office. They all have a free Wi-Fi and a choice of quiet sitting places (for writing) and busy tables (for observing).
De Tuin – Kralingse Plas
Plaszoom 354, Rotterdam
I am a big fan of water, I get inspiration when I work near sea, river, canal. Lucky, in Rotterdam it is easy to find.
De Tuin café is right at the beautiful lake Kralingse Plas. Very close to water and two traditional wind mills. You can use free Wifi inside or at the beautiful terrace outside. There is also a wonderful forest Kralingse Bos where you can walk and think of the new blog ideas.
V11, Lichtschip V11
Wijnhaven t/0 101, 3011WN Rotterdam
It is red steel lightship located in Rotterdam Wijnhaven. First of all it’s red! J Second, you can use fast Wi-Fi with a good coffee and little snacks and with the view of the harbor.
Mart Café in Markthal
Markthal, Dominee Jan Scharpstraat, 3011 GZ Rotterdam
Markethal is a spectacular place to visit and you want to come there again and again. At the Mart Cafe you can enjoy the beautiful painting by artists Arno Coenen and Iris Roskam while writing your posts fueled by this foodie paradise. Usually there is no music in the cafe which helps you concentrate.
Het Lido terras
SS Rotterdam, derde katendrechtsehoofd 25, Rotterdam
This is another lovely spot at water. A huge cruise ship! When it is not windy and I can sit outside it boosts creativity big time – writing on such a big ship. On sunny days, I enjoy looking and people sipping drinks and sitting with their feet in water of the swimming pool on the deck.
Het Nieuwe Café – Museumkwartier
Museumpark 25, 3015 CB Rotterdam
The museum’s new Institute has a spacious terrace at the pond. Located on the Museum Park it offers an inspiring place for meetings. It is big enough to let you stay private at the table. The visitors of the New Institute come there, professional colleagues meet each other in the café and modern zzper’s use the New Café as an office.
