Econsultancy in partnership with Adobe has published 2015 Digital Trends report. More than 6,000 business professionals with an interest in digital business took part in this year’s survey. Customer experience is seen as the standout imperative for 2015 and beyond, with 22% saying it is the single most exciting opportunity this year. On April 21, 2015 Google rolled out the “mobile-friendly” update. The idea is to boost the ranking of mobile-friendly pages on mobile search results. “Mobile-friendly” pages are the pages that are legible and usable on mobile devices – in mobile search results worldwide. (Conversely, pages designed for only large screens may see a significant decrease in rankings in mobile search results.) Now users can more easily find high-quality and relevant results where text is readable without tapping or zooming, tap targets are spaced appropriately, and the page avoids unplayable content or horizontal scrolling.
